About Me
I was teaching students for 5 years in our very own Tutorial Center. Then, Back in the year 2018, I was introduced to the world of Virtual Assistants.
That was when my cousin's company was looking for people in the position of Backend Support. Having a basic knowledge of computers, even if I don't have any Niches, I tried to apply.
Fortunately, I was accepted and went under training for a few nights. Note: Working hours in Canada (UTC-5 hrs) is evening in the Philippines (UTC+8 hrs).
Days passed by, I work at the school in the morning, then work as a Virtual Assistant in the evening. Well, it lasted for 3 months. Why you might ask. My body can't keep up with my work. So my I decided to take a break as a Virtual Assistant and continue teaching students until this year 2020.
But then, something happened...
But then, something happened. the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak! Almost everything and everyone was affected, including economic, social, and political disruption, or even education. So, the Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education is very big to our own Tutorial Center.
That's when I found out that almost everything stopped except those who are working as a Virtual Assistant. Well, A virtual assistant is an independent contractor who provides administrative services to clients while operating outside of the client's office, in short, people who are working from home.
That's why I decided to give it a try again.
So, I searched online, on how to start as a Virtual Assistant, but I haven't found any better way that I believe would help me. Then, I found FVA Academy ads on Facebook. I enrolled, and I have an unforgettably good experience during my time at the Academy. They taught me how to start from scratch until I make my own Freelancing empire.
